Michelle Garrad-Knott
Head of Therapy & Community Services
I started my career working as an occupational Therapy assistant in the late 90’s working within the adult learning disability team, since then I have worked as an Occupational Therapist across the NHS, education, charities, and private sectors, including offering training and lectures. I have completed further studies in Diagnostic assessment, Sensory Integration and Sensory attachment Interventions and have gained knowledge and experience over the 30 years of working. I am a passionate and positive therapist and have been fortunate enough to work with other like-minded professionals.
I started working within Autism Anglia in 2000 and have since been offered opportunities to lead the therapy team, in children’s and adult services and more recently manage the community services across Autism Anglia including both the diagnostics service and community connect.
I am a proud parent of three children and feel that my personal experience of bringing up a daughter with special educational needs has added to my overall understanding of difficulties children and parents face on a daily basis.

"All individuals should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential and with the correct support this is made possible"
