World Book Day is always a special event at Doucecroft School, and this year was no exception!
Our learners and staff embraced the magic of books with fantastic costumes, exciting activities, and a whole lot of fun.
🔍 Scavenger Hunt – Learners embarked on a thrilling adventure around the school, following clues to match heroes and villains. Those who cracked the challenge were rewarded with a well-earned prize!
📝 World Book Day Quiz – A test of book knowledge brought smiles and excitement as learners answered fun questions about their favourite stories and characters.
🕺🎶 Disco in the Barn – To finish the day in style, they turned up the music and danced the afternoon away.
Head Teacher, Sam Lawrence said, “World Book Day is a wonderful chance for our learners to enjoy stories, get creative, and share their love of reading with friends and staff!“
A huge well done to everyone who took part – we love seeing the creativity and enthusiasm that World Book Day brings!
